1. The Farmstead

The Farmstead in Meridian, which features an innovative corn maze, consistently makes national press. The fall season at the Farmstead is an excellent spot to find pumpkins. Visitors of all ages can pick their own pumpkin straight from the vine.

If you prefer, there are pre-picked pumpkins available as well. Don’t forget to kick back and relax on the hayride. The Farmstead offers 40 types of gourds, Indian corn, and pumpkins. If you’re looking for a scare, take a trip to the Field of Screams.

There is a dizzying corn maze and outdoor adventures that’ll have you chilled to the bone!

2. The Berry Ranch

In addition to meeting the farmers who cultivate their food, customers can purchase produce at The Berry Ranch and pick their own at the farm. As you can imagine, there are plenty of pumpkins to choose from at this Idaho favorite.

The farm provides hayrides through its pumpkin patches daily through October 31. Additionally, the farm offers excursions where kids may interact with gentle cows, turkeys, and other farm animals.

No matter your age, we suggest going here to see how a beehive works in person! It’s important to mention that The Berry Ranch only accepts cash. Checks are okay as long as you bring a valid ID.

3. Linder Farms

Although The Farmstead claims to be Idaho’s most well-known attraction, Linder Farms is undoubtedly the top-rated Boise pumpkin patch. This expansive celebration of autumn offers hayrides that lead you to three distinct patches with approximately 30 acres of pumpkins, totaling 60 different species.

They also feature a kid-friendly hay bale labyrinth and a more challenging corn maze with over three miles of passageways. In addition to all of that, the farm offers a mechanical bull, tire playground, horse rides, and a petting zoo.

It’s worthwhile to stay for a campfire and a warm cup of cider in the early evening if you schedule your excursion for the latter part of the day.

4. Quey’s Maze

Throughout autumn, the Treasure Valley is filled with exciting Halloween events. At Quey’s Maze and Pumpkin Patch at Mountain Home, at the farthest point of the Treasure Valley, you’ll find a beloved pumpkin patch.

Every year, people travel great distances to view the pumpkin field and maze where the eight-foot-tall corn towers over you! Entry is $10 per person for everyone over the age of five. They do not allow dogs and are only open on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There are several types and sizes of pumpkins to choose from. After you’ve picked the perfect Jack-o-lantern, take a ride on the hayride! It’s $5 per person and passengers must be at least five years old.

5. Swore Farms

This has to be our top family-friendly choice! Swore Farms is committed to improving the neighborhood by providing fresh, wholesome produce that is grown on the farm itself. Swore Farms offers every pumpkin patch amenity you could ask for in the fall.

Both adults and children can navigate the corn maze and select their Halloween pumpkins from the garden while enjoying tractor-wagon excursions. They offer face painting as a fun activity for kids!

6. U-Pick Red Barn

Visit the U-Pick Red Barn, located across the field of camels on Rollandet. For this spooky season, gather your gourds, corn stalks, hay bales, and pumpkins all in one place. Take the youngsters along to ride the train and navigate the straw maze.

We strongly advise visiting the actual barn! It is a genuine barn from the first half of the 1930s! Simply step outside the lovely barn to feed the numerous varieties of chickens. They have more than 15 different kinds of pumpkins in a wide range of sizes, colors, and forms.

This farm will supply the cart, and you can choose the pumpkins you like most. The farm has cultivated the biggest pumpkins it has ever had this year, and they are eagerly awaiting your visit to discover them.

7. Twin Oaks Farms

This little 20-acre farm is the perfect choice for those seeking a less hectic pumpkin-picking adventure. In fact, we think it’s one of the best pumpkin patches in Idaho. A trailer pulled by a tractor has hay bale seats and will take you right to the entrance from the parking area.

Many visitors have said that Twin Oaks Farms has the most charming views in the Treasure Valley. This is more than your average pumpkin patch. The farm pays incredible attention to details and has storytelling, toasty bonfires around the land, horse rides, and a petting zoo.

One of our favorite things about Twin Oaks is that there are 15 acres of vegetables that guests can take home. You can fill a basket for $25! There are various options to choose from including tasty tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, corn, and more. All of the veggies they grow are done without pesticides.

8. Cabalo’s Orchard and Gardens

Do you try to eat as organic as possible? If natural, high-quality food is important to you, make Cabalo’s Orchard and Gardens a must-see. This farm has been in the Cabalo family for over three generations!

There are 10 acres of seasonal fruits and vegetables to choose from. Everything grown here is done without the use of dangerous pesticides. It’s open in October from Thursday through Sunday.

There are plenty of pumpkins available, pies to take home, and apples to pick right off the tree! People of all ages will enjoy a ride on the free hayride! You can buy corn stalks, unpasteurized cider, straw bales, and decorative gourds as well.

9. Shindig Farms

Shindig Farms is relatively new in terms of pumpkin patches in Idaho. Their first year in Nampa was in 2021. The family-friendly attraction features a big slide, zip line, pumpkin farm, eight-foot-tall straw maze, corn cannons, and more.

The maze quickly becomes haunting when they release ghosts and other supernatural beings into it on specific weekends in October. It takes anything between 45 and 90 minutes to negotiate the eight-foot walls of twisting straw.

Take a complimentary ride on the way to the pumpkin patch, where there are more than 20 different kinds to pick from. The 100-foot zipline is open to both adults and children of all ages. This is a part of the general admission price.

10. Kovick Kountry Farms

Last but not least, Korvick Kountry Farms can make for a fantastic fall afternoon! It’s in New Plymouth, ID, and has activities for people of all ages. Kids love the corn pits, slides, and straw maze.

The zip line is a popular attraction for adults! There are cute trains kids can ride in that are pulled by a four-wheeler. The train can bring them right to the pumpkin patch! This is a great place to stop if you’re looking for a place to take family pictures, as there are ample photo ops!
