Have you ever heard a parent talking about their child who is playing outside or with their friends and using the phrase, “They’re up to no good.” Normally, this means that they are up to no good. As basic as that sounds, that’s literally what that phrase means. Well, just like human kids can get in trouble, so do animal cubs. Let’s see their mischievousness below!

Cheetah Cubs Sighting in Africa

Cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus) can be found in both Africa and Asia. Our assumption is that this takes place in Africa, given the landscape. This video clip comes to us from a wildlife photographer who goes by the name NJ Wight, according to her YouTube page. And she certainly caught an amazing sight of these tiny and adorable cheetah cubs.

Cheetah Cubs Running From Mother

At the start of this clip, we see the smallest two cheetah cubs that are standing on the open plains of Africa. They look to be two peas in a pod, for lack of a better term. And they are ready to stir up some mischief. Never far from the protection and eyes of their mother, they know there is little fun they can get into with her close by.

So, without further waiting, these two cubs take off running at fast speeds! It’s as if the one looked back and said, “I’ll drive the getaway car.” Mere seconds later, we see the mother cheetah chase right after them. She knows these two are up to no good. But she seems to have forgotten her third cub. Who tries his best to keep up with her.

Cheetahs are some of the most beautiful animals that walk the plains of Africa. They are most famously known as being the fastest land animal on land. They are able to reach up to incredible speeds of 70 miles per hour. However, their population is in danger in 2023.

The IUCN Red List keeps a tally of animals and their species that are in danger of their population going extinct. Well, the red list has the cheetah population set as a vulnerable status. The steps below vulnerable are as follows.

  • Endangered (EN) …
  • Critically Endangered (CR) …
  • Extinct In The Wild (EW) …
  • Extinct (EX)

Their population is estimated to be around 8,500. And they are only four dangerous steps away from being extinct. So, click that video again and watch the birth of a new generation by seeing these three mischievous cheetah cubs.
